Steel City Relocation Services offer bespoke packages tailored to meet an individuals need. Our packages are bespoke to the client but the ones below are a good indication on price.
We work exclusively for our clients to find their ideal property and are not restricted to any Estate Agents, we cover the whole spectrum. From private landlords to international property agents we will source your property and negotiate you the best possible deal and terms. We aren’t just Steel City savvy either we have expert knowledge of all the surrounding areas and what they have to offer. We will find you the best property available in accordance with your preference. Below are some of the standard packages we offer and their costs.
Virtual/ One Off Property Viewing – . In today’s market, being able to view a property as soon as it comes up for sale or rent is essential as they often go within days if not hours. If you cannot make it to Sheffield or are unable to view a property then we can do this on your behalf. We can link up virtually whilst at the property so you are present when we view or we can film and photograph the property and provide you with feedback. This is a great service for people who don’t want the full package. You can book one viewing or several, the choice is yours.
The cost of the service is just £50 in the Sheffield area, payable in advance. This fee includes the virtual viewing and/or video and photographs, which are fed back. General advice is also provided to assist the client to make a decision with regard to the property and area.
An example of this service is a lady who lived in London and had seen a property in Sheffield but couldn’t get to Sheffield to do the viewing. She didn’t want to lose out on the property by not being able to get there on time so she called us and we booked a viewing in for that afternoon. We viewed the property and she was contacted by video calling so she was able to see it for herself. She liked what she saw and put an offer in immediately after the viewing. She was successful and moved in just 6 weeks later.
Meet and Greet – This package is very popular, time effective and great value for money. We will take a full property briefing from you by phone, local/video meeting or email. We will then send you unlimited details of potential properties and help you draw up a short list of up to 6 properties for you to view. At an agreed time and date we will then accompany you/do a virtual viewing with you to view the short listed properties. Should you wish, we will place any offers you may want to make to the vendors/estate agents as well as ask any questions or raise any concerns. The cost of the meet and greet package is £900.
Property search plus – This package includes everything that the above offers as well as negotiating with the landlord/estate agent and organising removal companies. We will take care of as much of the process as possible, if you need us to help find you a conveyancing solicitor or surveyor, we will do so. We will also provide you with as much information as possible regarding the area including schools, childcare, public transport, travelling times, restaurants and recreational options. Steel City Relocation Services will be with you every step of the way. We will contact you via video conferencing, telephone, local meet up and email. The cost of this premium package is £1200.00.
This package is perfect for those people who are moving from further afield and do not know the area at all. An example of this is a lady who was being relocated by her employer from South Africa. We supported her with helping her come up with a budget, what her preferences and non negotiables were in terms of property and commuting times. We also researched health services, educational facilities and leisure resources. We also assisted her with the legal and formal procedures involved when moving to the UK from abroad. We did virtual viewings and she found the perfect property for her move which she moved straight into on the day she arrived in the UK.
Hourly rate – Should you not want a package the general service is charged at £35 per hour. This includes the time taken to look for the properties, arrange the viewings, go to the viewings, provide feedback and also provide information with regard the area and amenities etc. The time it takes to source, arrange appointments, view and liaise with agents soon adds up so for those moving to Sheffield who do not know the area or have a specific preference list this may not be the right choice but for those who just need somewhere quick, it may take around 10 hours so could be the ideal service.
All fees are payable as 50% in advance and the remaining fee when the purchase offer or rental application has been accepted. All our packages can be tailored to your needs but the above give a guide to prices and services.
